Dreadlocks are not poor hygiene. They are clean (Clean hair dreads better because the oil from your scalp slows down dreading) Dreads are not a fashion, they are a way of life. People give up a lot to have/keep their dreads. Dreads do not smell bad, and you can have manicured dreads. They can be as wild and crazy or as tame and sleek as you want them. I hate it when people judge dreads using ignorance. *sighs*
